Promo Leads Scam
Cybertrace has recently identified another website and brand linked to the same syndicate responsible for BannerBit, Clicks Dealer, Click2Sell, Ads Supply, CPL One and others. They are scamming under the name Promo Leads and have been operating for the past 5 years; in other words, they are experienced scammers!
We have previously published articles on this syndicate relating to these scams and our ongoing investigation into this criminal syndicate (see links in paragraph above). We hold strong intelligence linking these scams with the so-called independent mediator Purchase Guard. All these scam brands have previously used the Purchase Guard logo on their websites in an attempt to appear legitimate. You can easily identify the Purchase Guard link with its 100% Satisfaction Guarantee slogan as part of their logo (as per the above image of their website).
The Promo Leads website became operational in January 2021 and claims to be operated by the Estonian company EverFirst Services OÜ, with their address being Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Roseni tn 13, 10111. As expected, this address is also linked to several other questionable investment and cryptocurrency companies.
The main difference between this website and its predecessors is that they attempt to restrict access to their platform by requiring that access to come from one of their affiliate marketing partners such as Bitcoin Up.
